Mon frère Français...

|

It is going to be three years already since I left my country in the search for a better future, like many other people who leave their homes for the same reasons. I could say that things have been sort of OK for me, which I think it is very normal in situations like mine, an immigrant in a different country.

Unfortunately, I am not sure if I could say the same about a certain situation that happened to me a few weeks after my arrival to Taiwan also happened to other immigrants as well, I think it would be so risky to say no, it did not happen to them at all.

I am talking about my dear Philippe, or like I like to call him “my French brother”. Philippe is the person who has been with me at any moment during my new life here in Taiwan. He is been there during my ups and downs, always without asking questions or anything like it. He is a person who I really care for and he has all my respect and appreciation. he has shown me what friendship really means and for that he is a very important person, if not the most important one in my "Taiwanese life"

Everybody wants to have a big brother when they are little, and lucky me, I came to find mine here in Asia, and his name is Philippe Rouchet, from France….Je t’aime mon frère
